About Koshinko
One of my friend told me about Koshinko Maid Cafe since she visited the LEG2 event. I got the flyer of the event from another event at PV, but since MOI is located so far away from my place and I got piles of jobs to do, I didn’t go with her.
Apparently, she was quite shocked.
Why? Well, she explained it to me and gave me links of the reviews. (mostly from Japanese Station) Here are the links:

Koshinko is using ‘point-collect-war’ theme. The customers gave the maids points for their service. The winner maid got prizes if they win ranks. It sounds exciting, like an RPG rite? So what’s wrong? Then she told me the “services”… and well, no wonder.

Kinda contradicted eh?
So there’s “special services” at first, but then they said it was forbidden to do any body contact.
More contradicted point is the menu. Here’s the services’ explanation:
Errr, the feeding thing felt awkward (well, for me. But i bet boys love it) but the worse is the love confession thing. Hello? You pay to get a love confession? And the cafe put that on the menu? o___________o
And as you can see, there’s “Tamashi No Chiyu”
This service allowed you to hire your personal maid for 1 hour. It said that “you can ask her to accompany you to walk around the mall or have a private/separate room”
Seriously, isn’t it counted as paying for a date? And what the hell with private room? It sounds so wrong. I mean at Japan originally, these kind of services counted as minor prostitution.
I haven’t visit the cafe myself, but just reading the reviews… well like I said before, SO WRONG! It’s giving the overall maid cafes a bad reputation.
Even the comment section was like this:

I’m a girl, so I felt pity for the maids. It’s like they were viewed like a -pardon me- whore or hostess. And really sorry to say, the services really do alike with the services that given from a hostess.
Please noted that Japanese hostess usually entertains the customer with chatting, singing and accompany them drinks. The sex service usually conducted outside the bar, but not every hostess do these kind of service.
I just don’t want the non-otakus fellow misunderstood that all maid cafe do this kind of services. I’m not trying to bash Koshinko or whatever, but I need to state my opinion. It just felt so wrong… ( .______. )
